Following a year of planning, alternative jewellery designer Helena Garcia launches her unmistakable website for the Candy Candy jewellery range, just in time for Valentines Day!
The UK's answer to Tarina Tarantino, Helena uses Divine inspiration, quirky thematics, lucite, pearls and ribbons to create her hand made and finished creations.
The website, which is designed by Leeds based No Volume, is a reflection of Helena's personality and style. An adult’s playground filled with originally designed ranges of hair clips, earrings, bracelets, brooches and necklaces all of which are good enough to eat. The website has an interactive storefront for online shoppers and contact information for wholesale customers.
Candy Candy has been a staple in vintage lifestyle boutiques, vintage markets and independent retailers for the past two years, and with the launch of the website Helena hopes to take the brand to international cult status – she already has some collectors from Japan!
Helena has been fascinated by plastic from a young age, unlike the rest of the girls in her family,
”I was never that interested in fine jewellery. I found it too conservative and far too expensive. On top of that, if I ever inherited a piece of expensive jewellery I would not wear it in fear of it being lost or stolen…Since I was a little girl I have been creating accessories to adorn myself, Candy Candy has been a life long dream”.

What Girlie Gossip Thought …
We were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of the fabulous Candy Candy range recently, and wanted to share our thoughts with you guys.
Firstly, lets start by talking about the website, it is perfectly Girlie, easy to navigate and full of cute candy pinks, hearts and flowers. We loved it!
The range of Jewellery and Accessories are cute, kitch and eye catching. Our fave's from the bracelets range were the super cute Candy Stripe Bracelet in Pink and White and this nautical style Lucite Link and Anchor Bracelet which is bang on trend right now!
We also loved their selection of hair accessories which instantly reminded us of Gossip Girl!
